The Role

As a Consultant you will play a pivotal role in supporting and leading the delivery of strategy, brand, and organisational culture projects for a diverse portfolio of clients. You’ll work closely with Partners and Directors, managing project delivery, client relationships, and junior team members to ensure exceptional outcomes.

You’ll combine analytical rigour with creativity, helping clients see what’s possible and make confident choices about their direction. You’ll take ownership of workstreams, contribute to business development, and represent Genesis in client meetings, presentations, and external fora.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Designing and delivering client engagements that deliver clear, high-impact outcomes.

• Leading elements of project management, including scope, timeline, and budget.

• Conducting and synthesising research and insight from a wide range of sources — consumers, markets, and organisations.

• Supporting the design and facilitation of client workshops and engagement processes.

• Developing clear, compelling presentations, reports, and strategic recommendations.

• Managing relationships with clients, building trust and long-term partnership value.

• Coaching and developing junior colleagues through feedback and shared learning.

• Supporting business development through research, proposal writing, and pitch participation.

 

About You

You are a confident, capable consultant who brings both structure and imagination to complex challenges. You thrive on collaboration and are motivated by delivering meaningful results for clients.

You’ll likely have:

• 8–12 years’ experience in consulting, research, brand strategy, or organisational development, ideally within a leading agency or firm.

• A strong understanding of brands and organisations, how they grow, evolve, and connect with people.

• Outstanding written and visual communication skills, including storytelling and presentation design that inspires confidence and engagement.

• Proven ability to build long-term, trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders.

• Excellent project management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously.

• A positive, adaptable attitude, comfortable with ambiguity and change.

• Qualifications in marketing, strategy, social science, or the humanities (or equivalent experience).
